Mercedes-Benz is one of the UK´s leading manufacturers of prestige cars.

Challenge
Mercedes-Benz wanted a digital marketing system for their Corporate sales teams that would allow them to send out high quality electronic communications in keeping with the Mercedes brand and tailored to their many different audience types, for example fleet managers, HR administrators, brokers, leasing and contract hire companies and the individual driver. They also wanted to be able send out e-mail communications which were personalised to the corporate customer.

Solution
Digi-products created a digital marketing system that allowed Mercedes-Benz´s design agency to create the html e-mail templates for prospecting and customer follow up, and for the Corporate Sales Admin team to send out personalised e-mails based on these templates. Digi-products set up different user groups for the team, so that staff can only use and send out materials relevant to them. The branded HTML emails are personalised to each customer and include links to view the car and service details as a Flash presentation or Digi-brochure (exe) (both including a magnification feature to make best use of images) or as a PDF. The Mercedes-Benz system is also very image based, as car purchase is a highly visual process.
Each email is personalised to the sender and the marketing materials include the corporate prospect´s own logo.
The system also features in-built notifications which alert the sender when the recipient has either interacted with the e-mail content, or linked directly to the Mercedes-Benz website.
