Extrasys are a specialist IT service provider to SMEs, providing affordable access to the latest technology to small firms without them having to make a capital purchase.
Challenge
Extrasys were looking for a digital marketing system that would give them total flexibility to create variations of existing marketing materials according to each audience. They also wanted to be able to specify the access level and sending options for each user type.
Solution
Digi-products provided a customised set of templates which Extrasys users, according to their access levels, could use to create html e-mails with embedded content customised to the prospect. The Digi-products ‘Search’ feature allowed previously created materials to be quickly located, and communication materials customised to each audience by simply copying the master brochure and editing text and images to suit the particular need. The ‘Manage users’ feature in Digi-products allowed different users to be set up with different sending options.
As with all Digi-products solutions, the system provided to Extrasys featured in-built compliance with the Data Protection Act as e-mail recipients are given the opportunity to ‘opt out’ of future correspondence. Digi-products automatically manages ‘opt out’ lists to ensure those named therein do not receive future e-mails from Extrasys.
Benefits
Extrasys were delighted that Digi-products gave them the flexibility to make extensive use of existing case studies, and to maintain some control over the content they send out to prospects by providing different access levels for different user types. They also found the quality of their prospecting improved significantly, as Digi-products email alerts told them exactly who was interacting with their email content and when, allowing them to follow up accordingly.
