Challenge
Geocel was looking for faster and more cost effective ways to communicate with customers and prospects, and at the same time reduce the carbon footprint of its sales force. Geocel was also about to open an office in Romania, so any solution considered had to have multi-lingual capability.
Solution
Geocel purchased a customised Digi-products digital marketing system which included the ability for sales staff to send personalised and professional html emails with promotional and service information embedded in them. The html emails could include Flash presentations, electronic ‘Digi’ brochures and/or PDF documents, and send an alert to the user at the moment the recipient interacted with the information.
Benefits
The ability to send out professional looking electronic marketing materials has not only reduced print costs for Geocel, but also travel costs for sales staff. Geocel sales staff are far more effective as a result of using the Digi-products system, because the html emails create exactly the right impression with customers, and the alerts mean they spend time only following up the ‘hot’ leads, and at exactly the right time. In-built reporting allows Geocel management to better understand the performance of their sales staff, and Digi-products ability to translate quickly and easily into other languages meant it could be made rapidly available for staff in Romania.
